I love retail business. I love the creative entrepreneur who identifies a problem, develops a solution and connects with the customer and sells it! I love the innovative ways that entrepreneurs take products that work in one situation and successfully adapt them for another. That is why my mission has always been to celebrate the retail business owner and their passion to meet the needs of customers – wherever they might be in the world.
Over the years, I have been part of numerous organizations dedicated to entrepreneurship – I have joined as a member, co-founded, and sat on many of their Boards. Through my involvement, I have tried to focus these organizations on meeting the very specific needs of business owners bringing a product to market. Each of them has done a good job in their own way, but they were all missing a key part of the “complete solution.”
That is why I am so excited to be one of the founding Market Leaders of the new Global Leaders Organization or (GLO). GLO provides a new type of community for specific groups of entrepreneurs and provides what they need to develop and scale their businesses through – a searchable member directory, local chapters, discussion boards, and a gamified currency that grants rewards for participation in the community.
But wait there’s more!
With my involvement, GLO will have a special community that focuses specifically on the needs of retail business owners. There is a Marketplace where retail business owners can open new markets. There is a deal network to find partners and distributors. Most importantly, there is an investment portal where retail business owners will be able to raise capital and invest, directly on the platform.
I am a member of GLO, and I look forward to working with the retail business owners who join me. Don’t miss out on the 30 Day Free Trial.

As entrepreneurs, we face challenges throughout our careers. Everyone does. But what sets
entrepreneurs apart is that we always persevere. We always find a way. It’s in our DNA to keep
going and keep striving for our goals. But even as we push forward, I’ve learned a valuable
lesson. Nobody does anything alone. It’s simply not scalable.
My advice for anyone striving to launch or scale a business is to surround yourself with people
who truly want to see you succeed. That means hiring the right people, finding the right
mentors and sponsors, and connecting with good suppliers and pursuing the right clients. It also
means joining the right organizations and using digital platforms that help support your success.
Last year, I launched a website, ninavaca.com, to serve as an online tool for entrepreneurs—
sharing the groups, programs, and initiatives that have helped me grow as an entrepreneur and
business leader. Now, I’m joining forces with the Global Leaders Organization (GLO) to offer an
even greater level of resources. This will not only help entrepreneurs succeed, but also become
true leaders in their industries.
GLO has created a new digital platform for entrepreneurs that provides members with access to
business resources, market opportunities and connections to capital through online portals and
communities. GLO is on a mission to help entrepreneurs thrive!
I am so connected with GLO’s mission and am proud to be a Market Leader helping connect
others with these amazing resources. My top priority has been to leverage any success I’ve had
by reaching back and bringing others with me. As GLO’s Market Leader for Latino businesses, I’ll
continue what I started more than 17 years ago by opening more doors for Latino
I am proud of the work GLO is doing and I know it’ll make a world of difference. When
entrepreneurs succeed, it not only impacts them individually, but also their families, their
communities, and ultimately the world.

In my over twenty years as a small business owner — I have learned that almost all entrepreneurs share many of the same experiences and challenges. We need access to education, so we can learn and grow as leaders. We need to share our experiences with peers, so that we can work together to solve problems in a safe environment; and most importantly, we need access to new markets, customers, quality vendors and the funding needed to scale and grow our businesses.
I started GLO as a way to address these critical issues and to provide all types of entrepreneurs with the community, commerce and capital they need to become successful business owners. We do this — at GLO — by providing these services in ways that are unique to a variety of different markets, including those of the retail business owner or the technology entrepreneur. We also appreciate that the experience of a Latino business owner or a Woman CEO are different, and require specialized approaches that add real value to a diverse mix of businesses.
We are working with Market Leaders like Kevin Harrington—the original Shark from the hit TV Show Shark Tank—to develop the retail business community; Nina Vaca, the incredible Chairman and CEO of the Pinnacle Group and President Emeritus of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to develop the Latino business community.
These communities are like neighborhoods in a city; and we expect each one to have their own individual flavor and to solve unique problems. Members will find that the discussions and deals vary community by community, and the offering on the Investment Portals will reflect the respective needs of each business group. Ultimately, they will all be GLO — but each will have their own special way of representing the community and addressing their specific challenges. GLO will be launching over 40 different communities lead by a Market Leader over the next two years.
On March 8th, GLO will launch several new communities within “our city.” These communities include: Retail Businesses, Latino Business, African-American Owned Businesses and Women Owned Business.
We invite you to celebrate diversity in the business sector and become a member. Join us today with a 30-day free trial!
